Marketing Intern Job Duties

Marketing Assistant responsibilities include assisting in organizing campaigns and events. In addition to developing graphic designs that enhance marketing strategies.

This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.



  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities

  • Support marketing executives in organizing various projects

  • Conduct market research and analyze how to effective manage a facebook group

  • Employ marketing analytics to gather social media trends and techniques 

  • Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with non-financial information

  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success

  • Prepare and deliver promotional presentations

  • Compose graphics and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts

  • Write marketing literature (captions, video descriptions, newsletters, etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market

  • Communicate directly with clients in the Business In Travel Facebook group and encourage trusting relationships


Requirements and skills

  • Willingness to learn experience as a marketing assistant

  • Willingness to learn office management and marketing principles

  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines

  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach

  • Willingness to learn knowledge of market research techniques and databases

  • Knowledge of MS Office, marketing software, computer software and online applications (Canva, Google, Wix, Click Up, CRM tools, Mailchimp, Google analytics, Youtube Studio, etc.)

  • Communication and people skills

  • High School diploma; Currently enrolled in a college/university

  • Art and Graphic Design skills 


Hours and credits

  • 15 hours per week. Work schedule will depend class schedule 

  • College credit hours given will depend on the interns requirements

  • Internship start and end dates will be based on the interns schedule.
